AHMEDABAD: A chaddi-baniyandhari gang entered the house of a 52-year-old man in Bilasia village of Daskroi taluka and fled with valuables and cash amounting to Rs 11.5 lakh. In a complaint with Kanbha police, Manish Patel, a resident of Nandanbaug Society, said that three men aged around 30 broke into his house in the wee hours of Wednesday. "The men, wearing undervests and shorts, carried iron rods and wooden sticks. They threatened to kill me and my wife if we refused to give them the valuables," he told police, addingL "The men broke into our cupboards and took away jewellery and cash."
